Safety

Safety at Rizz

Rizz is an 18+ social discovery app, and safety shapes how we build it. Here is an honest look at the tools and practices we use to support an authentic community.

Introduction

Meeting new people should feel exciting and respectful. We design Rizz with that goal in mind, combining verification, member-controlled tools, and ongoing moderation. No online platform can guarantee perfect safety, so we focus on giving you clear controls and taking reports seriously.

Real People, Real Profiles

Rizz is built for genuine connection between real adults. We discourage fake, misleading, or impersonating profiles, and we may take action on accounts that misrepresent who they are. Authentic profiles help everyone start conversations with more confidence.

18+ Community

Rizz is for adults 18 and older only. Accounts must belong to people who meet this age requirement. If we determine that an account does not, we may restrict or remove it.

Face Verification

Members may be asked to verify their face using a selfie. Face verification helps compare a live selfie with a member's profile photos to support the idea that the photos belong to the person using the account.

Verification selfies are used only for verification purposes and are not displayed publicly on profiles.

Photo and Profile Review

Profile photos and information may be reviewed to help uphold our Community Guidelines. Safety systems may review content, and content that violates our rules may be removed. Members who repeatedly or seriously break the rules may face account action.

Reporting and Blocking

You can report inappropriate behavior or block other users directly in the app. Blocking helps you stop unwanted contact, and reporting helps us understand what is happening in the community so we can respond.

  • Report profiles, messages, or behavior that violate our guidelines.
  • Block any member to prevent further contact.
  • Reports are confidential and help inform our review process.

Moderation and Enforcement

Reports may be reviewed, and outcomes depend on what we find. Depending on the situation, enforcement may include warnings, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent bans. We weigh context and severity when deciding how to respond.

Banned Accounts

Members who are banned are not permitted to return using new or alternate accounts. Attempting to evade a ban or our moderation systems is a violation of our rules and may result in further action.

Our Ongoing Safety Commitment

Safety is never finished. We continue to refine our tools and processes over time. If you ever feel unsafe, please use the in-app reporting and blocking tools, reach out to support@rizzapp.io, and review our safety resources. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
